On The Subject
of "Selling Out"

10 years ago I embarked upon
this path for one reason. . . . . to get the girl. The Hollywood dream was a
side avenue, mostly "to keep me busy". A lot of nice people may potentially
depend on me, to whom I've made swell promises to assist and help in any way I
can. Their needs come first, asides from "my little electric circus".
Sometimes I ponder upon the
fate of others many have been accused "of selling out", but those who stand
guilty were never "smart enough" to see the full flower of implication and where
such compromise would lead. Occasionally, I consult a "Tarot" deck and one theme
that shows up repeatedly is that myself, as a stubborn individual, is going to
have to choose between "love and career". Well, I sacrifice for "the greater
love" and I believe that entails a nobility unto itself. . . . .
so long as one goes into the arena bravely, and does not face the world with
fear. I would not be here, unless I defied every convention in the book-- and I
certainly do not discourage others "from breaking ground in new frontiers".
Go get 'em!
